# Trails

Published so far

There's already a blog post for each of these. The list grows in two directions at once: the trails everyone knows, and the ones a few hundred people a year walk that nobody has written about properly. The second kind is the point, not the filler. The catalogue starts in Europe rather than ending there.

## GR20 Corsica

Corsica's high-level traverse: around 180 km, roughly two to three weeks, widely called one of Europe's hardest long-distance trails. Refuge places are capped and booked through one central system, which makes it the clearest case of why the nights are the hard part.

## GR221 Mallorca

The Ruta de Pedra en Sec through Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana: around 139 km, usually walked in 7 to 10 days, with a season running October to May. A real mountain trail that is unusually forgiving to organize around.
